As a recipient of the 2026 Queens Arts Fund for New Work, I had the wonderful opportunity to create Our Table / Recipes From Home, a new series of paintings inspired by a simple question:

What food brings you back home, and why?

Through conversations with members of our diverse Queens community, this project explores the memories, traditions, and connections we carry through food, family, and culture. Each painting reflects a personal story while celebrating the experiences that unite us across backgrounds.

It has been an incredibly meaningful journey, and I would be delighted to share these works with you. I hope you can join me for an evening of art, conversation, and community as we celebrate the stories that remind us where we come from—and the connections we discover around the table.
